16th May Farnborough Kidz to Adultz Show
We have loved getting to know and exhibiting at Kidz to Adultz. We met so many wonderful people and exhibitors and as usual learnt so much. We're looking forward to the upcoming Kisz shows in Wales and Manchester and hope to sere you there. Fidgetsandstims had a new look for this show and we were pleased to be able to be closer and more easily able to talk to you all with our new hanging grids displays. The show was a success and we loved showing our new calm down kit which was very popular.

These kits come with a series of things that can be used to aid self regulation and self soothing, all can just be a great way for parents, caregivers or other important adults to help calm someone down who is in a state of heightened anxiety. Each set comes with a set of affirmation cards, with positive phrases, that can be used as a way to help remind people how great they are even in difficult times. It also comes with a set of finger tracing cards that have breathing exercises that can be used as a calm down aid if somebody is feeling very panicked. Additionally, they come with a mini stimming set, a small samboard sensory library and a set of sensory grounding cards with simple sensory activities can be used to help regulate a dysregulated person.

We greatly enjoyed meeting so many people from the charity sector and learning about so many wonderful small charities that support young autistic and neurodivergent people in the United Kingdom. We particularly loved getting to meet Bibic who deliver assessments and bespoke developmental therapy for children and young adults under 25. Bibic meet people at all stages of the assessment journey, even pre-diagnosis to help support young people and families. They also had a wide and exciting range of sensory tools and fidget toys on their stand, which made for very interesting conversation!
We hope to see you at the next Kidz show which will be on the 21st of September in Wales, we will be on stand A10. In the meantime we hope to see you at the disability Expo in London Excel center from the 6th to the 7th of July.
